    Extra Coals adds six craftable coal types that serve as furnace fuel, letting players trade iron, lapis, redstone, gold, emeralds or diamonds for different smelting capacities and speeds. Iron Coal smelts 32 items, while Lapis Coal smelts 32 at double speed and Redstone Coal smelts 32 at quadruple speed; Redstone Coal can also be crafted into six redstone torches. Gold Coal smelts 16 items at octuple speed, Emerald Coal smelts 64 at double speed, and Diamond Coal smelts 64 at quadruple speed.
