    About

    Faded Conquest II remasters the original Faded Conquest as a focused fantasy RPG mod, replacing most of the older mod’s broad collection of features with a smaller set of polished boss encounters and related content. Its bosses include Dyrolian, the Faded King, who fights in two phases with dashes, leaps and summoned minions, and the Aero Guardian, which attacks with lightning, projectiles and whirlwinds; defeating them can reward powerful weapons such as the Blade of War and Stormclasher. Other encounters include the Terrible Ten, who must first be fought together before their members can be captured and used as an army, and the Plaguebringer, whose poison, Toxic Crow minions, dashes and toxic spikes make its second phase especially dangerous. The mod also adds the Mirror Realm and Abyss dimensions, with the Abyss reached by falling into the void of the Mirror Realm, along with harbinger keys, an Abyssal Device, a Magic Mirror and new structures associated with the harbingers. Its environmental additions include toxic sludge and magma, Dark Bricks, Clay Pillars, Grimstone, Petrified Wood and Branch, and plants such as Gildgrass and Abyssal Growth.
