Born in Chaos is a survival-combat mod that adds aggressive creatures with distinct abilities and tactics, alongside bosses, equipment, decorative blocks, structures, and achievements. Its enemies range from zombies and skeletons with unusual defenses or attacks to spirits and minibosses; the Nightmare Stalker, for example, begins hunting from the third night and grows stronger as the days pass. A naughtiness system also gives animal and villager killings consequences: accumulating enough points brings Krampus Henchmen as a warning, then Krampus himself, whose attacks can disarm the player and whose snowstorm slows and damages nearby targets. The Halloween-themed Sir Pumpkinhead is a three-phase miniboss, while the stronger Lord Pumpkinhead is a late-game boss with its own three-stage fight and rewards. The world additions include a dark tower, lookout tower, farm, and fire well, and the mod provides weapons and armor as well as decorative blocks. Mobs spawn according to biome types, allowing them to appear in biomes added by other mods; game rules can be used to disable mobs or structures, and the new weapons are compatible with Better Combat.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 111 blocks, 240 items, 86 entities, 31 structures, 160 recipes, 62 advancements, 53 loot tables and 138 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
