Fangs 'n Claws expands survival gameplay with RPG-style monsters that have distinct roles and behaviors, alongside materials, weapons, armor, and other useful items. Its enemies include group-raiding Goblins that can steal from your inventory, Dart Goblins that scramble controls with venomous shots, shelter-smashing Ogres, villager-disguised Werewolves vulnerable to silver, wall-phasing Ghosts, and Mimics that pose as loot chests. Other creatures add varied combat and taming encounters: pack-hunting Wild Wolves, biome-specific Desert, Frost, and Nether Scorpions that can be tamed and ridden as they grow, flying Imps whose attacks build to fiery explosions, and formidable Owlbears and ranged Shrikes that can be tamed as babies with salmon. The mod also includes Ice Golems that freeze targets, Hell Ogres with fire breath, flying Horse Bats and ember-trailing Nightmare Horses, and other threats such as Silver Skeletons and Evil Bats. Defeating creatures provides materials for distinctive gear, including chitin armor that counters different status effects, Fur armor that protects against cold and can make wolves ignore its wearer, and feather-based Owl armor that enables gliding and midair flaps, with a further Shrike armor upgrade. Weapons and tools include a Fang Dagger that causes bleeding on backstabs, a hook-launching Catching Claw, a Werewolf-killing Silver Sword, a returning throwable Tomahawk, and pitchforks that build fire brands; other equipment includes a monster-repelling Vile Lantern, a pass-through Ghost Block, and a resettable Bear Trap. Players can also use mount equipment such as Sturdy Saddles and Horse Blankets, while a Totem of Frost automatically heals its holder and freezes nearby enemies when health falls to a critical level. Spawn rates for individual creatures can be changed or disabled through the mod settings or gamerules.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
