A modpack for exploring magic, technology, and new worlds.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 586 graded mods, 491 are graded A or B, 90 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 4 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Modded Together is a modpack that brings magic, technology and exploration into a shared progression-focused experience designed for solo or multiplayer play. Its technology progression moves from making biomass and fuel with Diesel Generators to Oritech, which gates access to AE2 digital storage and the endgame Tempad for teleportation; Embers provides an optional dwarf-themed technology and magic sidequest for crafting pipes, generating energy, powering motors and repairing or augmenting items. Exploration includes airships and the Aeronautics physics system for building flying bases, alongside Spawn biomes such as islands and volcanoes, Pillager Caravans, and structures in the overworld and Nether. Combat and discovery feature Legendary Monsters with new bosses, Cult of Azael structures and a boss, and boss-related cooking: some foods permanently increase attributes when used, while others provide long-lasting effects. The pack also includes Iron's Spellbooks, with magic organized around distinct classes, and Scorched Guns for ranged combat. Changes such as moon-phase- and weather-dependent night brightness, shield-specific damage mitigation, and boss balance tuned around stronger player health and equipment shape how the adventure plays.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 24 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 23 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 581 of its 588 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
19 mods send something about you
We read the code of 499 of its 508 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 39 of the 425 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
83 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
