    About

    Floricraft turns flowers into wearable and portable sachets that grant player effects, while adding ways to grow, store, display, and use plants. Players can cut flowers into petals, prepare petals in raw, dry, salty, or crystallized forms, and craft sachets; crystallized petals are edible and grant the basic Floric effect, which provides a small amount of healing, eases negative effects, and improves hill climbing. Sachets provide different effects, including Floric, which generates healing and relief from bad effects, and effects that repel nearby hostile mobs or attract animals; sachets can go in a holder, be worn as amulets when Baubles is loaded, or be placed on a doll to share their effects with nearby players. The mod adds a Pruner for cutting flowers, Flower and Lunch Baskets with inventories, hemp for crafting sachets and cloth armor, and a full cloth armor set that grants Speed II. Flower Stacks can dry when placed in a dark spot, while Round Bales can become Silage, which attracts nearby animals and can lead them to breed automatically. Plant-focused additions include Flower Beds that hold up to three plants, including plants from other mods, Better Flower Pots for planting modded plants, and Lycoris, a flower that appears after a zombie dies. PotPourri filled with salty petals keeps hostile mobs at a distance, and the Flower Land biome features blooming roses and tulips alongside generated paths. Wind affects Floric particles and the rotating Weather Rooster, while Floric torches produce those particles and a Floric enchantment adds them when the player attacks. The mod also includes balloons, Christmas decorations, and three kinds of Christmas Tree Sapling; trees grown on December 24 or 25 can generate a present chest containing Christmas Confection that grants Luck.
