Chisels & Bits is a building and decoration mod that lets you sculpt existing blocks at a micro-scale, then place the resulting bits to create detailed shapes and custom designs. Use it to shape smoother stairs, roofs, pillars, windows, flooring, bridges, fountains, and light sources, or mix materials such as wood, stone, glass, and glowing blocks into new-looking blocks. Chisels support different cutting modes, including single-bit, line, and plane, while a magnifying glass and measuring tools support precise work. Patterns let you record a chiseled design for placement from bits in your inventory; a single-use pattern can be rotated or mirrored in a modification table, and sealant makes it reusable but prevents further modification. A Bit Bag keeps picked-up bits available for building, automatically stores and restocks them, and can hold 63 stacks, with 512 bits per stack by default. The mod supports common solid full-cube blocks such as logs, planks, ores, and storage blocks, with additional curated support for blocks including glass, leaves, and grass; compatible blocks from other mods are detected automatically.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Libraries packed inside it change 11 more game code files: scena, Scena and Saecularia Caudices.
Adds 19 blocks, 21 recipes and 4 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, code history and pull requests and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
