    About

    Fossils & Archaeology Origins reimagines the classic prehistoric mod, letting players excavate fossils, extract DNA, and revive extinct creatures to build a living ecosystem. Revived creatures can be tamed for combat, transportation, or resource management, and species have distinct behaviors and habitats; examples include speedy Oviraptors, herds of Brachiosaurus, and swimming Plesiosaurus. Genetic traits can affect creatures’ appearance and behavior, including their textures, size, speed, and attack, while herding, feeding, and naturally growing grass help bring their environments to life. The mod also adds a story to uncover, involving the fall of the Tusken Empire and figures described as false gods and heroes from beyond time.
