GatewaysJS is a KubeJS addon that lets server owners and modpack developers customize Gateways to Eternity through JavaScript scripts rather than Java code. Scripts can register normal gateways, define their names, sizes, colors and display details, and create gateway pearls that can be used as recipe outputs or to summon those gateways. Builders let creators assemble waves of vanilla or modded mobs, set wave timing, and adjust entity attributes, effects, gear, NBT, descriptions and spawn behavior across all waves, a particular wave or an individual entity. Gateways can grant items, loot-table drops, experience, commands or summoned entities as wave or completion rewards, and can trigger penalties such as explosions, status effects, commands or summoned mobs when a challenge fails. Scripts can also set challenge rules, including spawn and leash ranges, whether only player damage counts, whether mobs are removed on failure, and whether leaving bounds causes failure. The addon exposes server-side events for gateways opening, waves starting and ending, entities spawning, and gateways completing or failing, so scripts can inspect challenge state, add rewards, and react to those lifecycle changes. Its runtime API can query registered gateways and manipulate gateway entities, including playing sounds or particles, spawning items, teleporting or removing them. Custom rendering options include gateway entity textures, boss-bar textures and layout, fog, and pearl tooltip and creative-tab visibility. The 1.21.1 NeoForge branch additionally provides Endless gateways, where the first wave serves as a base and later waves can gain entities or other modifiers according to progression rules, as well as tiered Apotheosis gateways and related invaders, affixes and gem rewards. For less common gateway, entity, reward or failure types, scripts can register complete definitions or decode nested JSON through the codecs supplied by Gateways to Eternity and compatible mods.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
The file checks found no code that connects to the internet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include gatewaysjs in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
Mods that modpacks often add together with gatewaysjs. Share: how many of the modpacks with gatewaysjs also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
