Ghostly adds supernatural mobs and related equipment to Minecraft, centered on Shades and spirit-possessed undead. Its mobs include the dark, partly transparent Shade, possessed zombies, husks, skeletons, strays and wither skeletons, plus the dangerous Shade-hosted Infested Enderman, the poison-inflicting Sickened Spider, and the Darkness Mage with its floating Shadow Remnant helpers. Shades dissipate in bright light, while possessed undead have enhanced abilities, glowing eyes with configurable color options, and may pick up loot; possessed husks and wither skeletons also inflict stronger Hunger and Wither effects, respectively. Darkness Mages can cast spells at distant targets, including Blindness, Wither, summoning a Shadow Remnant, and launching shadow orbs, then close in to attack when nearby. Shadow Remnants can leech health and grow, shrink in light, and explode when they grow too large, while Sickened Spiders behave like spiders but inflict stronger poison. The mod also adds Nether-generated Corporealite Ore, smelted into ingots for a specialized Corporeality toolset that lets its weapons and arrows damage partly incorporeal creatures more effectively. Additional gear includes a Venombow that poisons targets, a Corporeality bow and dusted arrows, and materials such as Shadow Dust and Venomstring. Configuration options include individually toggling mobs, adjusting spawn rates and light thresholds, and enabling or changing eye-color variations for possessed undead.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 2 blocks, 15 items, 14 mobs, 9 projectiles, 14 other entities, 13 recipes, 10 advancements, 4 loot tables and 78 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
