Distance-based real-time in-game voice chat.

Gliby's Voice Chat adds real-time voice communication directly to Minecraft, so players can talk to one another without an external voice-chat application. Its distance-based mode makes nearby players sound louder and distant players quieter, while server chat modes can also let players communicate with everyone in the same world or globally. Players can use push-to-talk or toggle-to-talk, adjust microphone and voice settings, and mute individual players; on-screen indicators show when someone is speaking and display their name. Configurable interface placement and opacity let players position and adjust the transparency of voice-chat elements, while volume control can lower Minecraft's sound effects during speech.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.5.2 to 1.8.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.5.2 to 1.8.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.5.2 to 1.8.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
