    About

    Grapple adds two enchantments for fishing rods, including modded rods, that turn them into tools for moving around the world. Grapple lets you cast a hook onto a solid block and pull yourself to it when you uncast the rod; its three levels vary the cooldown and pulling strength, while hooks in liquid leave the rod usable for fishing. Aer Hook enables grappling without attaching the hook to a solid block, but it only works alongside the Grapple enchantment. The enchantments can appear in buried treasure and ocean ruins chests, while woodland mansion chests are guaranteed to contain either one. The mod also adds Golden Cookies, which grant speed for four seconds and an adrenaline effect for eight seconds; adrenaline prevents fall damage and grappling cooldowns, with gamerules to configure each behavior. Grapple cooldowns and pull strength are data-driven and can be adjusted with a datapack.
