An adventure pack for exploring strange worlds, dungeons, and finding loot.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 403 graded mods, 293 are graded A or B, 87 C and 23 D to F. Its last update came out 5 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons 3 is an exploration-focused RPG modpack that reshapes Minecraft around character growth, dungeon expeditions, loot, and cross-dimensional adventures rather than technology-centered play. A quest system provides guidance, lore, tasks, rewards, and a shop while preserving a largely open sandbox: most content is available from the outset, though recipes and access to dimensions encourage a staged journey through realms. Players develop through an experience-funded passive skill tree, new movement and combat abilities, varied magic systems, and extensive equipment, including 14 weapon variants, more than 100 relics and artifacts, affix gems, and customizable gear. Combat features more than 40 hostile mobs with improved AI and difficulty that responds to player progress, plus boss dungeons, occasional boss invasions, and enhanced Ender Dragon encounters. The world includes 51 new Overworld biomes, four cave biomes, underground dungeons, and structures such as castles, ruins, towers, forts, campsites, and mansions, alongside reworked terrain, mining, Nether, and End generation. Exploration extends to the Aether, Undergarden, Lands of Icaria, Bumblezone, Dimensional Dungeons, and Mining Dimension, with aircraft, ships, mounts, and other travel options complementing harder-to-craft waystones. A dedicated roguelite dungeon-raid system adds repeatable runs with room events, rival raiders, cursed chests, and guardians; kills and chest looting build score, tokens, and persistent rank progression, with higher ranks bringing tougher enemies and better token bonuses. The pack also reworks early survival, health, enchanting, villages, and recipes, and adds tameable animals, role-based companions, backpacks, building tools, ambient sounds, and animation and HUD changes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 20 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 8 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 401 of its 405 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 382 of its 387 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 305 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 other mod shows AI use only from after this release (20 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
82 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
