GregTech Classic is a GT1-inspired rewrite for IC2 Classic, adding a compact set of technology, processing and utility options intended to complement IC2 Classic without forcing a hardcore progression path. Its machines include the Industrial Centrifuge, which separates items into components and helps recover materials, and the Matter Fabricator, which consumes stored EU to produce UU-matter from eligible inputs. The UU-Matter Assembler combines scanning, crafting and replication: scan a valid item, select it as the target, then replicate it using stored UU-matter and energy; it also retains its recipes, energy and UU-matter when broken. Large-scale power options include a Lightning Rod that converts strikes into EU and a Fusion Reactor that fuses elements, with some recipes producing substantial excess energy. Energy storage ranges from adjustable AESUs to IDSUs that link their stored power across matching units, while practical logistics blocks include portable 32-bucket drums, power-free Quantum Chests and Tanks, and item and fluid buffers. A Magic Energy Absorber can generate 128 EU per tick from a valid trophy, including Twilight Forest trophies or a Dragon Egg. The mod also adds ore and processing details such as Ruby and Sapphire spawning in different biome types, scanner and magnifying-glass biome information, and some Twilight Forest processing recipes. CraftTweaker support lets pack makers add or remove recipes for systems such as the Industrial Centrifuge, Fusion Reactor and Matter Fabricator.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 1 item: Glass Tube; 2 sounds: Sonar and Spring.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
