    About

    IC2 Classic recreates the classic IndustrialCraft experience as a technology mod that adds an industrial layer to Minecraft while remaining an optional part of a broader playthrough. Its EU power system lets players generate, transmit, store, and use electricity, with generators, cables, energy storage, and machines organized into voltage tiers. Players can process ores into more ingots and automate production with machines such as the Macerator, Electric Furnace, Compressor, Extractor, Recycler, and Canning Machine; Advanced Machines offer faster processing for continuous factory use. Power options include solid-fuel alternatives, wind and solar generation, steam turbines, and nuclear reactors, while batteries and Charge Pads help store and deliver energy to equipment. The mod also adds practical equipment and defenses, including electric tools, Bronze tools and armor, composite armor, and jetpacks, alongside transportation such as Rubber Boats that can bounce for parkour. Construction Foam can be applied by hand or with a CF Sprayer, then hardens over time into a solid block; the sprayer and a wearable backpack support larger building jobs. IndustrialCraft Classic includes the Advanced Machines and Compact Solars add-ons, and offers compatibility with mods such as BuildCraft, Not Enough Items, Tinkers Construct, and Waila.
