    About

    Grinner’s Ents adds seven humanoid tree mobs to the Overworld, bringing oak, dark oak, birch, acacia, spruce, jungle, and cherry tree variants to its forests. The ents cultivate and protect forests: they occasionally plant saplings and bonemeal the ground, and they are generally neutral until attacked or until a player strips or breaks a log in their forest. At night, ents hibernate motionless, but attacking one can wake it; giving an ent an apple helps calm its aggression. Ents can drop logs and bark when killed, and stripping a log also yields bark that can be crafted into paper. The mod also includes built-in compatibility for Quark Azalea Trees.
