GuideMe Recipe Compat extends GuideMe’s in-game, wiki-style guide books so their pages can display recipes from supported mods instead of showing a missing-handler notice. It provides purpose-built layouts for supported recipe types, including machine recipes with relevant details such as chances, energy, time, and heat, as well as fluids and Mekanism gases, slurries, infusions, and pigments. It also fills GuideMe’s gaps for vanilla campfire cooking, smoking, and stonecutting recipes; an optional client-side generic renderer can display other recipe types and is off by default. Supported mods include Create, Farmer’s Delight, Ars Nouveau, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Applied Energistics add-ons such as Advanced AE and ExtendedAE, and many others; support varies by listed game version, and absent mods are skipped rather than required. Guide authors can use the same recipe-placement methods as GuideMe, including displaying a named recipe or finding one by its output item, with no extra tags to learn. A hidden examples guide can show a loaded example of each recipe type registered by a mod, helping authors spot recipe types without a renderer.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Not checked yet
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
