Hearth Well is a progression-focused mod about building up a home base and producing the resources needed to craft everything without venturing out. Its progression combines new crafting mechanics, a research tree for discovering blocks and reactions, and machines and multiblocks, with the Hearth Well itself serving as the place to research recipes. Early steps include growing wood from a Seed of Life, crushing materials into components, and using Mysterious Dust as a base ingredient that can be multiplied by infusing grass. Later devices include the Amplifying Tube, which transforms materials into amplified smelted forms such as stone into lava, and the Freezer, which turns water into snow or ice and lava into obsidian. Power Crystals supply nearby machines, with their component choices determining power, range, and how much energy is lost over distance; a multiblock Charger replenishes them using items such as Mysterious Dust, Mysterious Leaves, or Imprisoned Light. Other multiblocks include the Precision Grinder for processing materials, the Heat Furnace for rapid cooking and smelting, the Separator for splitting constructions into components, and the Puller, which draws ores from nothing and works faster when built higher. Crystal shards, infused cores, and shard-picking tools add further ways to obtain materials and transform them, while an Obsidian Displacer provides obsidian before a diamond pickaxe is available. The mod also adds lifestyle conveniences, cosmetic and design-focused blocks and items, and unusual environmental devices such as gravity blocks that attract objects and anti-gravity blocks that lift players.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
Adds 31 blocks, 24 items and 23 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
