    About

    Helpful Villagers lets villagers take on useful work, with professions that perform tasks mostly autonomously when supplied with the tools they need. Shown roles include miners, farmers, lumberjacks, soldiers, archers and merchants, while villagers can carry collected items in an accessible inventory and equip functional armor and tools for their tasks. Players can use commands to make villagers follow, trade or change profession, and workers return to guild halls when idle to resupply and store what they have gathered. The mod also gives villagers player-like models and supports fully armored appearances.
