Hyper Lighting expands Minecraft’s lighting options with practical and decorative light sources, including extinguishable and relightable torches, toggleable lanterns, tiki torches, underwater lights, candles, colored redstone lamps, button lights, fluorescent lights, jack-o’-lanterns, lava lamps, and campfires that can cook food. Many lights can be dyed, and compatible ones can produce colored illumination when used with the RGBLib addon; colored redstone lamps respond to redstone signals like vanilla lamps. Its solar-powered fence lights charge in sunlight and can be switched individually or controlled through a switch box, while fluorescent lights use power supplied through a wireless battery module linked to a solar panel. The mod also adds colored water, which can be drunk, used to grow crops and sustain aquatic life, and, in its glowing form, used to grow crops in darkness and grant night vision when consumed. For atmospheric effects, fog machines produce colored smoke, can be set to fire automatically or controlled remotely, and require water to operate. Additional touches include a handheld jar that emits light as you move when RGBLib is installed, and unclear glass that lets you see through without letting light pass.

No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
