Immortal Gingerbread adds holiday-themed enemies, protective companions, items, and village raids to the game, and was developed for the Immortal modpack. Spoiled snowmen lurk at night in cold biomes or appear in patrols, while their ranged-attacking leader is found only in patrols; a patrol may also appear nearby during a full moon, and defeating its leader can yield a candy cane. A friendly gentleman snowman can be made with a snow block and snowman hat to help defend a base from monsters. Spoiled gingerbread men appear during a sugar rush, and eating gingerbread in front of them can provoke them; entering a village while under the sugar rush effect starts a gingerbread raid. The dangerous spoiled gingerbread golem attacks with a gingerbread grenade launcher, while a gingerbread golem can be made into a pet that protects its owner at the cost of its own life and can be healed with cookies or gingerbread. Candy canes grant the sugar rush effect and repair gingerbread bazookas, which fire fireworks; gingerbread also makes gingerbread blocks and can tame gingerbread golems. Other drops and items include snowman hats, spoiled snowballs that deal impact damage and slow targets, and gingerbread bazookas.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 4 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., Server and world logicChanges 2 game code files in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules. and Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Adds 1 block, 10 items, 5 mobs, 2 recipes, 4 loot tables and 8 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
