Magic Witchcraft is a magic-focused mod built around exploration, crafting, practical gadgets, and increasingly powerful items across three tiers: Mysterious, Magical, and Spectral. Progress begins in the Mysterious Dimension, where players gather special wood and ore to make mysterious orbs, then use an extractor to produce magical orbs that unlock the mod’s broader crafting system. Its machines use recipes involving materials, energy, and tier progression; the magical energy system lets generators supply compatible machines through energy dumpers and conduits. Exploration spans the Mysterious Dimension and the Magical Dimension, whose landscapes include a magical biome, snowy plains, mushroom fields, and desert, as well as an obsidian dimension where the Dangerous Dragon appears. The Overworld also has an Ancient Biome, where ancient branches are used to craft specialized ancient wands; in the Magical Dimension, randomly selected locations can experience a one-time rain of comets that leaves fragments used in recipes. Magic wands cast effects through crafted orbs, including healing, restoring hunger, freezing nearby blocks, and setting an area on fire, while ancient wands add specializations such as ice. The mod’s utility items include a magic carpet for flight, dimensional switcher, teleporter, cave block for seeing through walls, block placer and remover, enchantment manager, magical bookshelf that supplies experience to an enchantment table, and highlighter that makes nearby entities glow. Other equipment changes movement and survival: the magical helmet enables wall-sticking and jumping, and float boots let players walk across fluids; a spectral hammer mines a 5-by-5 area of blocks. Machines support automation and resource processing, including a teleporter powered by beacons, a sap extractor for magical wood, a solar panel and charger for energy crystals, and an atomic fusioner for producing spectral orbs. The world also offers unusual encounters and discoveries, including rideable unicorns, Dangerous Witches, mysterious towers with loot, and the Dangerous Dragon, which drops valuable loot. Integrations provide alternate Spectral Orb crafting through Create, Mekanism, or Mystical Agriculture, while Tinkers’ Construct can melt many mod items to recover materials.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 173 blocks, 101 items, 3 mobs, 11 other entities, 4 biomes, 3 dimensions, 168 recipes, 18 advancements, 1 sound and 8 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
