    About

    MAtmos creates responsive ambient soundscapes for Minecraft by examining the player’s surroundings and playing natural sounds suited to the environment, including whether the player is outdoors, indoors, or deep indoors. It does not include sounds by default; players add resource-pack soundpacks such as MAtmos 2020 “Zen,” the Default soundpack, and Rhapsodia, which provide ambiences and effects including rain and thunder. Soundpacks can combine separate expansions, whose volume levels can be adjusted individually, so players can mix content from different packs to shape their audio experience. For creators, soundpacks define the conditions for one-shot sounds and longer streams, with options such as looping audio and indoor or outdoor variations.
