Tiered lights illuminate large areas, so you place fewer light sources.

Mekanism Lights adds powered, Mekanism-style lights to illuminate larger areas without placing a light source every few blocks. Its four Standard Light tiers reach 8, 12, 16, and 20 blocks respectively, with higher tiers using more power; they can be upgraded in place with Mekanism Tier Installers and accept Mekanism Energy Upgrades. For larger spaces, the Light Multiblock is built as a cube from 3×3×3 to 9×9×9, using Light Casing, Structural Glass, High Density LED Arrays, and at least one High Wattage Input Port; its maximum range varies from 32 blocks at the smallest size to 128 at the largest. Lights can be switched by sneaking and right-clicking with an empty hand or controlled with redstone, while the multiblock also provides a GUI for setting its range and viewing its size, LED count, and operating state. Illumination is placed as invisible light blocks in air, with line of sight back to the light, so it does not pass through walls; configurable spacing and update intervals let players adjust coverage and performance. Power use, light range, and recalculation behavior are configurable, and the mod supports multiplayer servers.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 8 blocks, 1 item and 8 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used to make it
The author declares AI content on Modrinth, without saying for what.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
