    About

    Mekanism is a technology mod built around a broad, tiered suite of machinery, energy systems, resource processing, and equipment, with content that ranges from factories and energy cubes to jetpacks and balloons. Its staged ore-processing chains use machines such as the Enrichment Chamber, Purification Chamber, Crusher, and Chemical Injection Chamber to turn ores into progressively refined materials, with higher tiers capable of yielding up to five ingots per ore when supplied with the necessary infrastructure and energy. Factories upgrade machines to handle multiple inputs in parallel, scaling through basic, advanced, elite, and ultimate tiers; the documented factory capacities are three, five, seven, and nine processing slots respectively. Players can build power generation and transmission networks, then use transmitters to move items, fluids, gases, energy, and heat between machines. Logistical Transporters and machine configuration options support item networks that can sort and filter what they carry, while a Digital Miner automates mining through configurable filters. For mobility and exploration, hydrogen-fueled jetpacks offer distinct flight modes, and the Digital Miner, loyal Robit companion, and Refined Obsidian Armor add further tools and gear. The wider equipment progression includes the MekaSuit and Mekatool, while the separate Mekanism Generators module provides the Fusion Reactor for powering advanced machinery.
