Sleep brings dreams, nightmares, and rewards for resting well.

Midnight Thoughts turns sleep into a gameplay system where the surroundings of a bed determine sleep quality, whether a player can sleep or faces a nightmare, and the level of the Well Rested effect earned on waking. Nearby lighting, carpets, furniture, decorations, plants in pots, glass, and structural blocks can improve comfort, while dark, hostile, or macabre surroundings can reduce it; the comfort categories and their weights are configurable and can be extended with datapacks. Well Rested has five levels that grant phased bonuses to speed, strength, mining speed where supported, attack speed, maximum health, and gradual regeneration, with stronger levels lasting longer and providing greater effects. While players sleep, an animated overlay presents moon imagery and rotating text drawn from facts, in-world lore, surreal thoughts, special messages, or a separate pool of nightmares; nightmares use a slowly breathing red vignette instead of the peaceful starfield. After waking, players who slept can view a summary of their activity since their previous sleep, including blocks broken, distance traveled, deaths, jumps, mobs killed, damage dealt, and achievements, in one of four individually selectable themes: Vanilla, Classic, Tech, or Magic. On multiplayer servers, per-player statistics continue accumulating while that player stays awake, and the nightly MVP is selected by points for travel, mining, mob kills, and jumps, minus a penalty for deaths; the winner receives a separate Well Rested-strength buff. The mod also supports user-created dream entries and achievements without coding, with configurable achievement conditions based on tracked statistics.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
