A stress system and a lurking monster bring fear to your world.

Mindly Presence adds a hidden stress system that turns ordinary survival conditions into a psychological horror experience. Stress can rise in darkness, when the player is hurt, after eating rotten flesh or a spider eye, and when cave sounds are heard; darkness and blindness effects can also increase it. Players can reduce stress through fishing, gaining experience, mining diamonds or emeralds, sleeping, healing, eating items such as golden apples or carrots, and spending time near a lit campfire, while light prevents stress from rising. Three kinds of craftable stress pills offer uncertain effects, guaranteed stress reduction, or guaranteed stress increase, and zombies can also drop pills. The Mindless stalks and watches the player, sometimes triggering scares; its Stalker form can attack, and it may shake when nearby or deal damage at close range. As stress builds, players may encounter horror sounds and screamer effects, while some events can alter torches or open and close doors. High stress can lead to a Nightmare dimension, and occasional player thoughts shown on the HUD provide clues about stress without needing a command. Some event chances can be configured, and players can set stress directly with a command.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 3 items, 3 entities, 1 biome, 1 dimension, 3 recipes and 11 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
