    Mine & Blade: Battlegear 2 expands Minecraft combat with a battlemode that lets players switch between normal play and up to three weapon sets, combining mainhand and offhand attacks with first- and third-person visuals. Its weapons include the waraxe, which is effective against armored foes, the mace, which can daze enemies, the spear for attacking at a distance, and the quick but lower-damage dagger. Shields block damage from a 120-degree frontal arc while stamina lasts, can bash enemies back, and can catch arrows that players can later retrieve. Quivers hold four times as many arrows as a standard stack and can be used with a bow to select among seven special arrow types: fire, explosive, ender, poison, piercing, mystery, and leech arrows, each with its own effect. The mod also adds a craftable chainmail recipe using iron-derived chain links.
