About
Minecraft Minions lets players delegate repetitive resource gathering and terrain work to summoned minions, who can follow them, travel to an assigned location, and carry players, animals, or other players. Minions can fell forests, dig stair-stepped mineshafts or custom spaces above or below ground, and strip-mine on command, scanning the shaft for valuable blocks as they work. Players can point minions to an ore vein, which they will follow and mine through connected blocks of the same kind, including modded ores; they then return their loot to the player or a designated inventory block with more than 23 slots. To earn minions, players accumulate levels by killing creatures and performing evil deeds; after reaching level 8 and completing four deeds, they receive a Master Item that can summon minions and issue context-sensitive orders. The mod supports multiplayer, allows up to four minions per player by default, and lets players add custom evil deeds through configuration.
