About
More Totem Effects expands the Totem of Undying into a collection of effect-granting totems that players can craft, upgrade, and use for temporary potion effects. Its effects range from Night Vision, Invisibility, Water Breathing, Fire Resistance, and Slow Falling to Swiftness, Leaping, Haste, Strength, Regeneration, Resistance, Saturation, and Luck; healing, Absorption, Health Boost, Levitation, Glowing, and Dolphin’s Grace are also included. Using a totem activates its effect for eight minutes, after which that totem has a sixteen-minute cooldown; each normally has five uses, and cooldowns are tracked separately for each totem. Level 2 versions are crafted from their level 1 counterparts and have an enchanted shimmer, while the Enchanted Totem combines Absorption and Health Boost effects. The uncraftable Totem of ??? is found in structure chests, including dungeons, mineshafts, temples, strongholds, mansions, ancient cities, bastions, shipwrecks, and buried treasure; using it can produce a beneficial effect, a harmful effect, or no effect. A Creative inventory tab adds twenty infinite, maxed-out Creative Totems for building, testing, and adventure-map creation. An advancement challenges players to gather every obtainable totem in their inventory at once, including the Totem of ???.
