Medieval MC [FORGE] MMC1 is a large medieval-fantasy RPG and exploration modpack built around discovering new places, completing quests, and establishing a kingdom with Minecolonies. Its world adds eight dimensions and ten civilizations, with large dungeons and structures, detailed caves, and bosses and mini-bosses to challenge as you explore. Quests guide progression through the dimensions, alongside RPG stats and Origins; thirst and stamina add survival considerations, while magic mods offer another avenue for adventure. The pack includes dragon encounters from Ice and Fire, and dimensions and dungeon content such as the Undergarden, Atum, and Stalwart Dungeons. It also adds equipment and progression details such as dungeon armor sets, Aquamirae lances and freezing protection, and companions that can level up by defeating mobs. With more than 300 mods, the pack also includes features such as backpacks with upgradeable tiers and abilities, and improved underwater flora and wildlife from Aquamirae.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 18 Jul 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Jul 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 291 of its 296 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (18 Jul 2023) in the 221 mods we checked.
24 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
75 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
