This author published many projects at once on Modrinth: up to 16 projects published within 2 weeks. 16 of the author's 20 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
Mutated Mobs adds fused creatures to Minecraft, combining familiar entities into powerful hybrids that inherit distinctive traits and abilities from their component mobs. The collection includes hostile, neutral, and passive mutants, with examples such as fire-immune Blaze Skeletons that fly and shoot flaming arrows, teleporting Ender Golems that can pick up and throw TNT, and Shulker Ghasts that fire volleys of shulker bullets. Other hybrids change how familiar threats behave: Slime Creepers split into smaller creepers when killed, Silverfish Creepers can hide in stone and summon silverfish, and Illusioner Creepers create decoys before turning invisible. Some mutants also offer useful or unusual interactions, including rideable Spider Pigs that climb walls and Blaze Pigs that fly and set creatures alight on collision. The mod also features boss-scale creatures such as Mr Spook, a hybrid with five fighting styles, including explosions, harmful potions, levitation punches, and teleportation; at low health, it becomes stronger and gains armor. Additional examples include tamed, rideable Polar Wolves that can be bred and may turn into Polar Zombie Wolves when killed by zombie mobs or mutants, plus Squid Creepers that leave an area-of-effect blindness effect when they die.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Adds 13 items and 43 entities.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
