Roguelike Dungeons adds large, naturally generated underground dungeon complexes as an alternative early-game progression route and a substantial challenge to explore later on. Each dungeon links rooms across multiple levels with twisting corridors and stairways, using randomized layouts that can include maze-like arrangements and secret rooms branching off corridors. Rooms range from crypts, prisons, libraries, and treasure rooms to themed encounters such as a blaze spawner above a lava pit, a creeper-spawner room, and a bedroom with a bed and starter chest. Dungeon corridors and rooms are dressed with varied features such as mossy or fire-lit arches, bookshelves, fireplaces, spawners, chests, tombs, and sewer or mineshaft details. Dungeons have randomized loot and spawners, and mobs emerging from dungeon spawners can receive randomly generated equipment; loot can also be combined with user-provided vanilla loot tables. Their visual style can vary by theme, including oak- or spruce-accented stone brick, crypt stonework, and mossy cobble, while above-ground entrances may appear as a standard tower, mountain tower, jungle temple, desert pyramid, swamp house, or traditional house. Dungeons usually appear near villages, and the mod provides controls for natural-generation frequency, dungeon depth, room counts, and whether custom dungeon loot is used.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: World generationChanges 1 game code file in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created..
Adds 17 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Roguelike Dungeons: their authors or Roguelike Dungeons' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Roguelike Dungeons, so you only need one.
