    About

    Nine Lifes adds a survival challenge in which you have only nine lives for an entire run, offering an alternative to vanilla Hardcore. The mod includes a lives indicator, and you can change the life count with the /nl command. As lives run low, the world becomes black and white except for red; in some situations, a 3D anaglyph effect can also appear. Amethyst-themed features include a command-only amethyst stick, an Amethysm effect that lets you sleep in a bed when you have five lives or fewer, and a red-majority effect. The mod also includes numerous advancements.
