    About

    Omni adds vanilla-style features that expand Minecraft’s blocks, biomes, cave life, ambient sounds, and creature behavior. Its cave additions include Mushroom Caves beneath mushroom islands, Icy Caves beneath frozen biomes, and Terracotta Caves beneath Badlands, along with colored cave mushrooms and their matching blocks. Caves and underwater areas can also contain gravity-affected speleothems that fill cauldrons when water is above them and can deal damage as they fall. Malachite adds green crystals that generate and grow like amethyst, while Badlands gain underground Red Rock that can be crafted into bricks, chiseled and pillar blocks, buttons, and pressure plates. For builders, concrete powder can be placed as shovel-made layers that fall under gravity and harden into matching-height concrete when they touch water; the mod also adds cobbled basalt and carved wood blocks. Wool can be made into textured Quilted Wool and connected-texture carpets, with a special variant for wandering traders. Jungles gain lotus flowers in eight colors, and vanilla flowers can be stacked like turtle eggs or sea pickles. Warm Oceans can spawn tameable seahorses in coral colors; they drop coral, and large tamed seahorses can be ridden. The mod also adds ambient sounds to forests, jungles, plains, and swamps, including birds and crickets in forests and distinctive distant sounds in jungles. Other creature changes include polar bears that may spawn with a Stray rider and horses that become zombie horses when lightning strikes both a horse and a zombie. Enchanted Golden Carrots provide Regeneration and Saturation as well as Speed, Night Vision, and Jump Boost.
