About
Pioneer expands vanilla-style world generation with biomes designed to complement the existing landscape rather than stray far from its visual style. Its forests and cooler regions include Aspen Grove, Autumnal Coniferous Forest, Boreal Forest, Snowy Boreal Forest, Redwoods, Snowy Redwoods, Crystal Lakes, and Willow Wetlands, with maples, firs, tamaracks, giant redwoods, amethyst crystals, and willow or mangrove trees. Other landscapes include Baobab Fields and Old Growth Baobab Fields, Desert Shrubland, Flooded Forest, Overgrown Spires, Pine Meadows, Prairie, Red Rock Canyon, Red Rock Cliffs, Verdant Sands, and Windswept Cliffs, ranging from grassy deserts and lush badlands to rocky jungle spires and mossy peaks. Pioneer also adds juniper trees in badlands, whose leaves yield food-bearing juniper berries, and beach-growing palm trees that can bear coconuts for making coconut milk.
