Random Enchants 2 expands the enchantment options in Minecraft with a port of the original Random Enchants mod and additional twists. Its enchantments affect many item types: Resistant prevents damage to items from cactus, explosions, and lava, Eternal prevents despawning, and Solar repairs items in daylight when a torch is nearby. Combat and weapon effects range from Dungeoneering, which makes slain mobs drop items from the normal dungeon loot table, to Chaos Strike's random effects, life stealing, lightning, paralysis, instant death, and magnetic loot collection. Tools gain effects such as faster obsidian mining, a chance to repair from breaking stone, tree-felling with Lumberjack, and Randomness, which gives the player random items when breaking blocks. Projectile enchantments add varied uses for arrows: they can return to the shooter, swap the player with an attacker, explode or home in on monsters, bounce off walls, light distant areas, or harvest crops. Other item-specific effects include a shield that redirects blocked arrows with double power, a chestplate that teleports its wearer away from danger, fishing-rod enchantments for pulling armor off mobs or launching the player, and Elytra damage protection. The mod also includes curses that hinder the player, such as tools breaking too quickly, slipping from the player's hands, or nearby entities becoming aggressive, alongside effects that can make nearby monsters teleport to the player during attacks. Enchantments can be enabled or disabled in the world server configuration, and the mod is compatible with Enchantment Descriptions.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 46 enchantments.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
