Sauce Lib is a shared library for Ars Nouveau addons, intended to provide common mechanics and reusable components that addon developers can share across projects. When used on its own, it adds school-specific spell damage and resistance attributes, mana discount and spell critical attributes, recipe types for Elemental Armor-style upgrades and charm recharging, and the Liquid Source fluid. Its optional Spell Crit mechanic gives spells a chance to deal 50% more damage, with the chance and bonus governed by attributes; configuration can also enable Liquified Source and Enthrall-related features, including permanent enthralling through Elemental's Charm. The library also provides shared interfaces for Propagators, Prims Lens, and Elemental school features, plus base classes for school-specific tomes, turrets, and charms, and templates for tank-equipped blocks and custom status effects. A debug option can display mana values and source-machine buffer and transfer-rate information, while backend tweaks include checks that help prevent area spells from harming allies or triggering orbit effects unintentionally.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area, as a library other mods build on: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 5 blocks: Arcane Plinth, Liquified Source, Source Jar Core, Source Jar Frame and Source Jar Valve; 2 items: Anima Essence and Liquefied Source Bucket; 1 sound: Example Sound; 1 recipe.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

More modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 15 a month now, 0 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
65 modpacks include Sauce Lib in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Sauce Lib. Share: how many of the modpacks with Sauce Lib also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
