Explore varied caves and find new tools for mining underground.
68.6 of the 71 points that apply = 97 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Spelunkery overhauls mining and cave exploration with new underground landmarks, varied terrain and ore deposits, and a reworked progression for processing materials. Stone and deepslate ores also appear in granite, andesite, diorite, and tuff, while large, biome-linked deposits include desert lapis veins, mountain emerald veins, swamp coal seams, deep cinnabar veins, and Nether gold veins and quartz geodes. Mining yields raw metal nuggets and rough gem materials, with deepslate ores sometimes providing extra drops; rough gems can be polished on grindstones, and some ores produce useful byproducts during processing. Exploration tools include glow sticks that can be thrown or placed, even underwater, a depth meter, a compass that can be pulled toward nearby magnetite, and forks for locating amethyst geodes or revealing nearby creatures. Practical additions include rope ladders that extend and retract, wooden rails that cross unsupported gaps, and parachutes that automatically slow a dangerous fall. Channels direct flowing water, while sluices use passing fluids or items to produce materials such as pebbles or seeds; salt can deter undead, melt adjacent ice, and be made into building blocks and lamps. The mod also adds distinctive cave features such as dusty mineshaft corridors, crevasses, and underground slimes, and it supports integrations with Create, Sully's Mod, and Oreganized, including compatible raw-material drops and processing recipes.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
