About
Star Worm Equestrian Mod expands Minecraft’s horse experience with custom horse models and animations, distinct riding gaits, and systems for training and bonding. Its horses come in 112 coat patterns, with foals and functional food and water needs that can be managed using feeders, buckets, and troughs. Players can equip horses with English, Western, and Adventure tack, including bridles, saddles, girths, blankets, leg wraps, ear nets, and breastcollars, and store equipment on saddle, bridle, and armor racks. Horse armor adds functional protection and perks: for example, iron armor grants magic protection, gold armor lets horses freeze nearby water, and diamond armor enables lava walking and fire resistance; winged armor is also available, though flight is not implemented. The mod also adds pasture blankets in 16 colors, stall doors, and occasional ruined farmstead structures in plains, with stalls, a small barn, a well, and crops used to make horse feed. To obtain a SWEM horse, players mine underground or mountain Cantazarite, brew it into a potion, and use that potion on a vanilla horse; riding requires a bridle, saddle blanket, saddle, and girth strap.
