    About

    PlayerAnimator is a library for Minecraft mod developers to add keyframe-based animations to player characters, while aiming to remain compatible with other mods. It provides layered animation playback in which higher-priority animations can override lower-priority ones, with transparent layers and modifier support for effects such as fading in and out. Animations can be authored in GeckoLib or Emotecraft formats and can control the player’s head, torso, arms, legs, and whole-body bone through offsets and rotations; bend transformations are available when bendy-lib is loaded. The library supports common easing styles, including constant, linear, and the easings.net easing functions, and can load animation files placed in a mod’s player_animation asset directory. PlayerAnimator is a developer library rather than a standalone gameplay mod, so it does not add player animations by itself.
