Modify any equipment and gear via the Smithing Table.

Superior Smithing lets players use the Smithing Table to modify tools, weapons, and armor with material-based upgrades that change their appearance and grant distinct benefits; each item can have one modification, and modifications can be removed with a Grindstone. Its templates are found in structures across the world, with examples including Trail Ruins, shipwrecks, pillager towers, Nether Fortresses, ancient cities, Bastions, Ocean Monuments, and End Cities; some common copied templates can also come from villager or Wandering Trader trades. The material choices span leather Bound gear, copper Reinforced gear, iron Riveted gear, gold Gilded gear, diamond Jeweled gear, netherite-scrap Forged gear, Echo Shard Echoing gear, Phantom Membrane Phased gear, Nautilus Shell Conched gear, Redstone Charged gear, Lapis Mystic gear, and Shulker Shell Shelled gear. These upgrades offer different trade-offs and special effects: leather-bound equipment can be dyed in any of 16 colors and protects against freezing, gold pacifies piglins, echoing equipment can return after death, conched gear aids underwater movement, and shelled items can automatically switch into the appropriate hand or equipment slot when needed. Charged gear alternates between powered and weakened states, while Mystic items gain a changing set of random enchantments each evening. A rare End template and Nether Star can further upgrade Netherite equipment into Ethereal gear, which is more durable and powerful, glows and sparkles, and lets its armor wearer draw from experience rather than health when taking physical damage. The mod also adds enchantments such as Vengeance, which stores blocked damage for a counterattack, Throwback, which blasts nearby entities away when a shield blocks an attack, and Lunar Effigy, whose magical damage varies with moon phase. Mobs including zombies, skeletons, and piglins can spawn with equipment and enchantments that scale with difficulty, and enemies are more likely to drop the gear they wear or wield. A modified smithing interface provides a recipe book, display model, and durability and enchantment transfer between items, while an option allows the vanilla interface to be used instead for compatibility.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 5 blocks, 1,412 items, 13 enchantments, 1,321 recipes, 7 advancements and 6 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 4 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables and 1 recipe.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
