About
Supreme Mining Dimension adds specialized realms for mining and exploration, offering alternatives ranging from cave-focused worlds to unusual takes on forests, deserts, and the Nether. Its destinations include the False Overworld, Underground, Caverns, Deep Caverns, Nether Isles, Ender Caves, Shifted Sands, and Strange Forests, with the False Overworld resembling the Overworld while spawning many new ores. Cavern environments include Dripstone Caverns, Amber Caverns, Frozen and Glacial Caverns, Overgrown Caverns, Sculk Caverns, and Magmatic Caverns, with features such as frozen mobs, lava pools, lush growth, and a strange foe in the Sculk Caverns. Other distinctive landscapes include an Ancient Forest with enormous trees and new flora, and Mushroom Forests; Nether Isles are described as a nether-like island realm surrounded by a lava sea. Players reach these realms through portals built in the familiar Nether-portal shape but using different blocks: iron-reinforced blocks for the False Overworld, heated magma for Nether Isles, gold-reinforced blocks for Underground and the Caverns, light obsidian bricks for Ender Caves, etched wood for Strange Forests, and amber bricks for Shifted Sands. The dimensions contain custom ores, including aluminum, antimony, cobalt, lead, nickel, platinum, tin, and tungsten, as well as dense versions of familiar ores such as coal, copper, diamond, emerald, gold, iron, lapis, and redstone. Ore availability varies by realm, with examples including dense diamonds and emeralds in Caverns and Deep Caverns, aluminum in False Overworld and several underground or forest dimensions, and platinum in Ender Caves as well as several other realms. The gallery also shows animated portals linking Deep Cavern, Cavern, Underground, and False Overworld.
