A quest-filled modpack for exploring new dimensions and building bases.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 424 graded mods, 318 are graded A or B, 90 C and 16 D to F. Its last update came out 2.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Worldly Galaxies 4 is a large, quest-led modpack set in a world transformed into a barren wasteland of ruins and villages after a fission-reactor disaster, leaving players to explore and rebuild it at their own pace. The questlines cover progression in mods including Botania, Blood Magic, Draconic Evolution, Mystical Agriculture, Mekanism, and Industrial Foregoing, alongside quests for technology, magic, and exploration. Exploration includes The Aether, the Twilight Forest, Incendium, Nullscape, and world and biome additions such as Terralith, Tectonic, and William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, as well as structures and settlements expanded by mods including When Dungeons Arise, YUNG's Better Dungeons, Towns and Towers, and Better Villages. Building and everyday play are supported by additions such as Chipped, Macaw's Furniture and Roofs, Sophisticated Storage, Farmer's Delight, and Pam's HarvestCraft, while mods including Modular Powersuits, Silent Gear, and Draconic Evolution add equipment and combat progression. Player-instanced loot and multiplayer support suit both solo play and co-op with friends, using the included Essential mod for local sessions or server files to set up a private server.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 4 Sep 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Aug 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 422 of its 428 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 417 of its 423 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 26 of the 357 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
66 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
