    About

    TekTopia Thief is an addon for TekTopia that introduces a nighttime thief who sneaks toward village storage to steal an available village item, then flees toward the village edge if successful. Villagers can drive the thief away if they spot it; spotting depends on its detection range, which changes with the thief’s level and the light level, while darkness lets it approach more closely before being noticed. The thief chooses from crops and food such as carrots, wheat, bread, beef, and cake, as well as resources, tools, weapons, and armor, including coal, diamonds, iron tools, swords, and iron or diamond armor. Its level ranges from beginner to expert according to village population, and level and gender influence which available items it may desire; more villagers also make thieves appear more often, with spawning configurable in the settings. A stolen item is recoverable if the thief is killed, and rotating the storage token in its frame disables thief spawning; with TekTopia Information installed, thieves also appear in its enemy display and map.
