About
The Forgotten Dimensions adds elemental combat and custom worlds to explore, with its completed Ice-themed setting, the Permafrost Dimension, as its main playable dimension. Permafrost is a dangerous frozen landscape with distinct areas such as Mendalum Forest, Froslog Forest, snowy forests, and a buried Ice Labyrinth, where freezing temperatures and sudden blizzards threaten survival. Its creatures include aggressive wildlife and region-specific foes such as pigmies, wolves, yetis, ghouls, spirits, Blizzard Vultures, and Arctic slimes. Players can gather ice weapons, armor, magic weapons, and Curios to prepare for elemental damage that can pierce vanilla armor; Ice slows enemies, while the wider elemental system also includes fire, electricity, water, and earth effects. The dimension features major fights against the Permafrost Beast and Ice Phoenix, leading to the sealed Permafrost Champion hidden in the labyrinth. Its natural portal appears in a snow biome far from the world center, providing access to the frozen world.
