The Lord of the Rings Mod: Legacy expands Minecraft with a Middle-earth dimension drawing on The Lord of the Rings and related Tolkien tales, with more than 100 biomes, sub-biomes, and variants generated in accordance with Tolkien’s map, including the lands of Rhûn and Harad. Its world includes distinctive structures and resources, as well as the Pits of Utumno, a dungeon dimension inhabited by Morgoth’s creatures. The mod adds people and races from Middle-earth alongside hundreds of blocks, weapons, armours, foods, and other items. An alignment system tracks how actions affect a player’s reputation with independent factions, and alignment influences access to trading, hiring units, and an expanded achievement system. Players can undertake randomly generated mini-quests and record them in the Red Book, while a modifier system lets them customise and upgrade weapons, tools, and armour. The mod’s gameplay supports multiplayer across all of its areas.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 5 of vanilla Minecraft's block textures.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
