    The Night Stalker adds a hostile creature that stalks players from a distance, spawning in dark areas both underground and above ground; the Nether and End are safe from it. It can see players from far away and can climb, sprint, swim, crouch, crawl, leap, and break blocks. Its block-breaking choices can be changed through datapacks. A stalk mode makes the creature behave like a Weeping Angel, and its behavior is accompanied by animations and sounds, including screams and a swimming animation.
