Herobrine haunts your world with spooky appearances and strange happenings.
65.5 of the 71 points that apply = 92 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
From The Fog turns the Herobrine legend into a configurable Minecraft horror experience, with sightings that keep him lurking at bedsides, behind the player, in distant shadows, and deep in caves. Its unsettling events include disembodied footsteps, ominous signs and subtitle messages, doors opening or closing, torches disappearing or being replaced, candles going dark, and paintings changing into haunted versions. Herobrine can also build structures such as pyramids and glowstone letters, mine tunnels nearby, strip leaves from visited forests, leave gifts in chests, and sometimes prevent sleep, strike the player, or try to burn an unattended house. Players can provoke the haunting with a classic shrine, which skips the initial delay before major events; configuration options let them adjust the experience, including sightings, event frequency, structures, and individual scare mechanics. The mod also tracks encounters with advancements, while its skin library offers alternate Herobrine appearances and supports custom skin slots.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 21 structures, 12 paintings, 43 advancements, 10 loot tables and 95 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's interface textures, 1 sky, weather or particle texture and 1 core shader.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
The author says no AI was used
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
