A hungry beast stalks you and chases you through your world.

The Starved Stalker adds a predatory creature and an ecosystem of hungry beasts that invade the world, alongside the Hungering Fields and the Drained Landscape and Hungrass Fields. The blind Starved Stalker tracks players using heightened senses, approaches, and begins chasing when close; as it eats and ages, it grows larger and stronger. Its life cycle includes Hungrejaws, young Stalkers whose roots drain and corrupt the land as their buried bodies grow into another Stalker. The bestiary also includes Famine, the oldest and most powerful Stalker, which uses Gormithium crystals to control other mobs, create portals, and fire a laser from its mouth. Other creatures include fast food-stealing Putrid Fangs, small but constantly eating Chompers, and Pinchfins that attack in groups; Haggardfish parasitize other creatures, while Ravenous ambush prey from beneath the ground. Hungrass creatures include spider-like Gore Spiders that grow into Ingurgitators, which spread hungrass spores, as well as Gobelisks that vacuum up or crush prey. Players can draw out Famine by attracting its interest and try to kill it for rewards, while the Starved Bestiary explains the mod's creatures.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 46 blocks, 44 items, 17 mobs, 6 other entities, 2 biomes, 1 dimension, 62 recipes, 13 loot tables and 55 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
